This is a time-sensitive post which will be of interest to writers, be they screenwriters or novel writers.
It’s an online screenwriters festival that has been a month-long (it’s nearly finished, hence the time-sensitivity) but all content is available for a year. I only signed up yesterday. You have until Sunday 7th June to sign up. And yes, you read that correctly, the festival has been a month-long and has included some brilliant discussions/classes including Robert McKee, Tony Jordan and John Yorke, plus brilliant screenwriters whose credits include Killing Eve, The Tunnel, Unforgotten, Criminal UK, Doctor Who and Torchwood, The Danish Girl and A Quiet Place, plus many many more. Far too many to list here. To see the whole list of speakers go HERE.
To see the brilliant programme go HERE.
You may think this is a fantastic opportunity, but a month-long programme that includes world-class speakers, it will be outside your price range, right? Absolutely not – well, I’m making assumptions, so I apologise. It’s an incredibly difficult time for many at the moment with job losses and furlough making finances tight and this might not be the right time for you. But for what it is producing, the festival is only £60 – is what I meant by it being a good price range. So please forgive my excitement. Usually these things are way outside my price range. To access the classes for the next year and make the most of the content in this way, I thought I could stretch myself here and have bought the ticket.
I wanted to share it with you. To give you the opportunity to check it out, see if you think it will help you with your writing process and join in if it will.

Ooh, that sounds really interesting, Rebecca! And to have access to that background and expertise would be great. Thanks for sharing.
