Friday 17th April 2020 and day 25 of the Coronavirus lockdown.
The CBS crime drama Criminal Minds ran its last ever episode in the UK this week. It was the fifteen season of the long-running popular drama which has spawned two other dramas; Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour as well as a video game where you have to examine clues to solve a murder.
I’ve watched the whole series from start to finish. And when it closed its doors it still had three of its original cast with it; Kirsten Vangsness (Garcia), Matthew Gray Gubler (Spence) and A. J. Cook (JJ).
On the whole, I’ve enjoyed the series though I have found some of the episodes a little grim and dark and at times they seemed to be attempting to see how far they could go to shock us. But I stuck with the series as I liked the characters. Particularly Spence and Garcia.
But it’s the end of an era now and the doors of the FBI’s BAU bullpen is finally closed.
Did you watch Criminal Minds? Have you enjoyed it? What about the last season? (Only ten episodes) well done? I did actually enjoy this last season. It had a lot to do with the characters and that is what I enjoy. Character led dramas. I invest myself in the characters rather than just the crimes on each week.
I’ll leave you with a short video of the table reading of the last ever episode.

I’ve had a very hit and miss relationship with the show… I’ve been told the last series is worth watching, but I am not sure.
I have problems concentrating on tv these days anyway… Plus book one edits are here so where to begin…
