Today I welcome Sharon Clayton to the blog to talk books.
Sharon is from Iowa, and has been an administrative assistant in an academic library for 25+ years. She enjoys cross county motorcycle riding with her significant other, and spending lazy days at home reading and cross stitching with her malamute, Charlie, by her side. She has been blogging book reviews since 2009 at The Eclectic Review and loves most genres.
What’s the first book you remember reading?
What book will always stay with you and why?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee has always stayed with me due to the wonderful characters, the sensitive nature of the story, and how my mother stated that Scout could easily have been her in southern Indiana. I admit I saw the movie first when I was pretty young, but actually read the book when I was in high school. I recommend it to everyone who hasn’t read it.
One book you are looking forward to reading?
Those are some excellent books! I can see why both The Wonderful Wizard… and To Kill a Mockingbird have stayed, so to speak. I’m really enjoying this feature – thanks, both.
Thank you so much, Rebecca, for creating this feature. I am discovering so many inspiring book blogs that are helping me be a better blogger.

Thank you for your comments, Margot. I have discovered that there are people who do not know that there is an Oz series and have encouraged them to read these books. 🙂
