We live in such a technological, online world, even reading has blended into this world. But, to what extent?
Check out this BookRiot video to see how much reading can be linked to your phone and let me know what you think or how much you agree or not, in the comments. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this one!
I really don’t do any reading on my phone. Only on my iPad. I use my phone for many things, but it’s too small for reading. (And as I don’t buy physical books or magazines anymore, all reading like that is done on my iPad.)
I love my kindle. It’s the perfect size and doesn’t have the glare of the ipad, which always used to give me a headache when I read on it.
This is interesting, Rebecca, and I think it is worth it for authors to know whether and to what extent people read on their smartphones. I don’t, personally. I prefer a larger reading surface. But I know a lot of people do.
I couldn’t either, it is too small. But yes, people do. I love my kindle for reading non-paper books.
I would NEVER read on my phone – unless for some quirky and bizarre reason my Kindle AND my tablet both died at the same time.
To me, my Smartphone is for phoning, texting, and Google look-up emergencies.
I couldn’t read on my phone, but I do use it for other book related stuff.
