Keeping track of what you’re reading is not always easy. I use Goodreads. (Click Here to find me on there.)
I am also an Instagram user, but I had never considered using Instagram to keep track of what I was reading until I watched this video.
If you are visually stimulated this could be a great way for you to keep track of what you read. I know there are a lot of readers on Instagram. Just look up the hashtags #bookstagram #books #reading etc and you will find a whole other world of readers there, but this video shows such a unique way of keeping track of your reading and of finding new books to read I thought I would share it.
How do you keep track of the books you read each year? Are you an Instagram user? Could you do this?
I use good old fashioned pen and paper – but end up with multiple notebooks with different things written in them so it can get very confusing. I may need to look at moving into the modern age, I’ve never used instagram but might give it a go.
Sorry, not on Instagram. I have enough to keep up with.
I guess I keep track mostly by what is on my iPad and then some through Goodreads.
I wouldn’t have thought of Instagram for keeping track of books, Rebecca. That’s innovative! And as you say, some people are more visually oriented; IG makes a lot of sense for those folks.
Not sure if this us for me, but really interesting video.
I use Goodreads and also my beloved Excel spreadsheets. Oh, and my blog, of course, since I review everything I read, pretty much! If I use any more ways of tracking, I’ll run out of time to read! π
Nice idea – not sure it’s for me though – I’m on Goodreads as I’m slowly getting to grips with it finding it a great resource for both finding & recording books
You share useful videos, Rebecca – thank you! I wouldn’t have thought of using Instagram this way, I use Goodreads, but it sounds like a good idea.
Wow!
I definitely had not thought of Instagram as tracking my reading. I love Instagram. I have instagrammed pics of books I have used for research for before but not really fiction.
I think I’m going to try this out.
Love it.
Thanks for sharing Rebecca. π
