Last Thursday was World Book Day and spontaneously off the top of my head I decided to give away five e-book copies of Shallow Wasters to celebrate World Book Day. I mean, what better way as an author to celebrate? Give some books away. It’s perfect. So I created a tweet and anyone who retweeted it was put into a draw for one of these books.
Below is the video of that draw taking place. I will contact the relevant people on Twitter and ask for their email addresses and what format they want the book in.
What I will say though, is that it is always worth following me on social media because I’m happy to do random giveaways and on different sites. Currently, if you sign up to the mailing list Here before Wednesday, you could win a signed copy of Shallow Waters. There are two to give away there.
Thank you to everyone who took part. It was great fun. It’s what books should be about!
How did you celebrate World Book Day? If nothing, what are you reading right now?

Great giveaway Rebecca. I am reading a new to me author – Robert Gott – it is very compelling crime fiction.

Congratulations to the winners – a great idea to celebrate World Book Day! I didn’t do anything much, because World Book Day isn’t a big thing in France yet… although my sons did dress up as characters from books for their English classes. I am about to start the latest Belinda Bauer, and am also reading ‘Fatale’ by J-P Manchette.

World Book Day sort of passed me by. Working all day and don’t have children but the best photo I saw was of a friends 5yr old dressed as an oopma limps. Currently reading Follow the Leader
