This is another in the bite-sized interviews I started a couple of weeks ago with Mel Sherratt.
The bite-sized interviews are a chance to drill down into one aspect of an authors work.
Today I’m really pleased to be able to have Lisa Cutts on the blog discussing what it’s like working as a serving detective constable and writing about that life.
You will notice it is a bit fuzzy at my end. I am going to invest in some lighting and a better camera in the future so the videos will be of a better quality, but for now, I hope you enjoy the video. You can subscribe to the YouTube channel Here.
This was great – really interesting.
Thanks Vicky.
Fascinating! Thanks to you both, and Rebecca, I really like your video interview format!
Thanks Margot.
Another really enjoyable interview – thanks to both! 🙂
Thank you!
It was great. I’d love to see more of this 🙂
Anna from Shout with Emaginette
Thanks Anna. This will be a series I hope. As long as I can get the authors to agree! 🙂
Wonderful interview! Do you ever have situations where you struggle with your story overlapping with your job and maybe telling too much about protocol?
Thanks Jacqui. Over to Lisa… 🙂
You have great access to interesting people Rebecca, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Carol. The joy of Twitter and being a chatterbox like I am 🙂
Just got round to watching this, Rebecca – now I’m going to investigate Lisa’s books. The cold case one sounds especially interesting (I have got a weakness for cold case storylines!)
They’re great books, especially if you like police procedurals because you know she’s a serving detective it makes it all the more real for you as you read it.
