I will be joining the Apple iStore as well, but that proved a little too much ground to cover and will be an ongoing project. I’ve started the process and have signed up as a business with them, so expect to see it in there within the next couple of weeks.

I had some formatting issues with Amazon over the weekend. I took the book down reloaded and republished it after checking it on my own kindle first. Please let me know if you see any formatting issues with it and I’ll check it out. Though it does view differently on all the different devices Kindle books can be read on, even the Kindles themselves, not just a change between a Kindle and a phone.

So, the crux of this long post, is that I’m now a published author! Thank you for your support this past few weeks. It has been very much appreciated.

  5. Congratulations! I’ve just bought it on Kobo. I’ll be reading it in the new year and I’ll let you know when I review it!
    You know, Smashwords has connections with Apple and other online retailers. If you look at their ‘Premium’ distribution service (which doesn’t cost anything), all you have to do is upload your book to smashwords with the correct formatting to get it accepted, and then Smashwords will upload your book to lots of other shops. I had a little trouble with the formatting, mostly that you need to use bookmarks for the contents and you can’t include links to Amazon or other retailers in your book (I did that as a flat “here’s where to post a review on the website you bough it” thing and I listed the main retailers).

    • Thanks for buying it! I hope you enjoy it! And thanks for the Smashwords link. I was trying to do each retailer myself for some unknown reason. I might have a look at that link though because I think Apple is difficult to do if you don’t have a Mac.

    • Thanks Elle. I’m celebrating with tea and chocolate and then later we are getting some fizz to celebrate properly and yes, over Christmas I intend to take some time out and read as much as I can before I start back on Hannah #2 🙂 I hope you have a lovely Christmas xx
