As some of you know, I had to cancel last Wednesday’s crime book club meeting due to a banging migraine. It had been a really long week with the loss of my beloved dog and dealing with grief in my children as well as my own and then other, happier activities later in the week, all seemed to culminate in my body just saying no.
Anyway, we simply adjourned it to next Tuesday 21st January. So, you still have time to read the book! Book club details as usual are here and a list of previous meetings including YouTube video’s are Here. It would be great to welcome new and old members.
We are reading;
The Necessary Death of Lewis Winter by Malcolm MacKay
A twenty-nine-year-old lives alone in his Glasgow flat. The telephone rings; a casual conversation, but behind this a job offer. The clues are there if you know to look for them. He is an expert. A loner. Freelance. Another job is another job, but what if this organisation wants more? A meeting at a club. An offer. A brief. A target: Lewis Winter. It’s hard to kill a man well. People who do it well know this. People who do it badly find out the hard way. The hard way has consequences. An arresting, gripping novel of dark relationships and even darker moralities, The Necessary Death of Lewis Winter introduces a remarkable new voice in crime fiction. The second book in the Glasgow Trilogy How A Gunman Says Goodbye will follow soon .
All details are on the post Here!

So sorry to hear about your tormented week… afraid I still won’t be able to join you (nor have I read the book), but hope you have a lovely, productive and interesting discussion!
