Out today, something a little different for crime fiction fans – Confessions of an Undercover Cop.
The sixth book in the bestselling Confessions series.
What is life like for a female Undercover Cop?
Ash Cameron gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at life in the Police. Funny, moving and irreverent, you’ll never look at a bobby the same way again…
Ash Cameron joined the police in the 70s – think Life on Mars with added ladders in her tights.
From arresting East End gangsters, dealing out justice to football hooligans and coping with sexism on the job, Ash did it all. So when she was asked to go undercover, well, it was just another job, wasn’t it?
Told with warmth and humour, these ‘confessions’ will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you roll your eyes as you learn exactly what goes on behind-the-scenes in the police…
There are snippets from the book being posted on the Facebook event and the odd confession. Anything you want to confess to today??

Rebecca – Oh, this sounds great! I do like a bit of humour with my crime fiction. Thanks for letting us all know about this.

I think it will be an interesting read knowing it’s someone’s real experiences. I haven’t read any of the confession books, but I think I’ll give this one a try 🙂

Sounds like one of my favorite writing styles – humor and drama in one package”)

Exactly. And based on real life! 🙂

Oh I love reading books like these! I wonder if this is this part of the HarperCollins series? I have read most of those. I’m off to find out.
DJ Kirkby says
Hurrah, it IS part of the HC ‘Confessions’ series! I have bought it, thanks for the tip off Rebecca.
Rebecca Bradley says
It is yes! 🙂 I haven’t read any of the others, but I think I may just try this one 🙂
Jacqui Murray says
Well that looks really good. I had no idea you could write humor about undercover (well, I sure can’t in my books!).
Jacqui Murray says
I just clicked on the Amazon link (from FB) and it went to UK. which means I buy it with British pounds. Forgive my stupidity, but I did that once and got charged a massive fee to change dollars to pounds. Do you know how it works these days?
Rebecca Bradley says
I’ve just looked on the Amazon.com site and it’s not available yet, but it is listed, so it might become available in the near future.
Jacqui Murray says
I think I’ll wait. I’m not terribly brave about these things. Thanks, Rebecca.
