With the new move and slightly new look, comes a new feature. Guest posts.
This is a chance for fellow bloggers, readers of, Murder Down to a Tea (previously, Life in Clarity) to take over this space and have their say. So what can you post about?
There is room for a whole host of subjects on which you can guest blog about.
You can talk about absolutely anything book related. Now there is a whole world for you to explore. Books you’ve read and loved (No book bashing here please). Ebooks, paper, traditional and self publishing, clubs, and to be read lists. Writing. Your thoughts and idea’s, tips you want to pass on, either that we need to try, or that we need to avoid at all costs.
As this is a blog, I also welcome posts on blogs and social media, good, bad, fors and against, but if you have a strong opinion, please make sure it is a well argued opinion, not just a rant because the space is here.
If you have a book release, feel free to get in touch with a release package, especially if it is in the crime genre. With book release packages though, I will use my discretion. For example, If I think you’re only here to push your release and I haven’t seen you around the blog, or my Facebook, or Twitter timelines, then it’s unlikely I will put the post up. You get the gist.
I have already approached a couple of people and asked them if they will do a guest post and they have kindly replied that they will. It’s something I expect to do every few weeks, so if you’re interested in taking over the blog for a day, drop me an email and let me know what you want to do, at, rebecca.bradley2010 at gmail.com
If guest posting isn’t something you have considered before, what’s stopping you? All guest posts will include at the end of the post, all links to the posters social media. Lets get sharing.

Hi, Rebecca,
Like the new look. It’s clean and crisps and smacks of what you write. Well done.

Thank you Joy. I appreciate that.
I’ve attempted to add The Character Depot to my reader, but it’s saying it isn’t picking up an rss feed. I see you have a new domain name. Is there anything I can do, do you know?

I would love to guest post! And I promise not to make it some horrible, self-indulgent promo piece about the wondrousness of Gunshot Glitter. I would be afterall, slightly biased on that score lol. My head is all over the place at the moment, but if you’ll have me, I would like to offer up something for you and your readers, probably about the intelligent use of social media.
Gunshot Glitter is definitely a crime genre release though, so I would be stoked if you’d be willing to feature it via your own pen, but I would leave that upto you. It’s a novel that turns the crime genre on its head. Don’t have a release package yet, but am working on it : )

Hi Yasmin, thank you for offering. If you drop me an email when you have some thoughts together, I’d love to hear your idea for a post. I’m thrilled that people are interested in doing this. Thank you.

What a generous offer, Rebecca!

I think something like this works both ways Talli. I think both host and guest can benefit from something like this. It seems to be having a positive response!
