A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the BritCrime event where several crime authors, myself included, were going to be online talking to crime fiction fans over the course of a weekend 11th-13th July. It’s held on Facebook as we thought it the easiest place as most people have Facebook accounts.
If you haven’t signed up to the event yet, you can do so Here. It’s chock full of great authors and also places to just hang out and talk crime fiction with each other.
This is a short post to let you know the programme is now live. You can find that Here. And quite scarily, I am first up on the programme, kicking off the weekend at 12 p.m. on the Saturday 11th July with my fellow crime authors, Steven Dunne, Jane Isaac and Craig Robertson. We will be talking about Serial Killer Thrillers. I do hope you’ll join us. (And try not to boo us off the platform!)
You’ll see on the programme there are conversations to suit every taste. It’s going to be such a good weekend for all crime fans and you don’t have to book train or hotel tickets to chat to us.
Will you be attending? Who are you looking forward to chatting to?

Hope it’s a great turnout! Sorry, not on Facebook.
Rebecca Bradley says
Thanks Alex. I’m really looking forward to it 🙂

I shall do my best. I am out and about that weekend, so fingers crossed I can get to a computer. Good luck everyone. A fab idea.
Rebecca Bradley says
Thanks Jane. That’s the great thing about it, it’s on all day and evening so you can pop in and out as much or as little as you want and at no cost, just pop in and see what’s happening. It’s promising to be a great festival!
Jane Risdon says
Rebecca, I shall. I have been back and had a look around. It looks fab. I hope you are feeling better and that July is an awesome month for you. 🙂 Thanks
Rebecca Bradley says
Thanks Jane. Feeling ill is why I haven’t been replying on the blog etc. I felt awful today as I went through and realised how far back I’d neglected everyone. But I’m trying to right myself again now. And yes, it does look fab doesn’t it! I’m excited.
Jane Risdon says
I did wonder if you were OK. I do hope you continue to feel a lot better. Rotten crap being ill. I am way behind with my replies also. It’s too hot really but I am trying. I gave up on writing earlier as my fingers stuck to the keys and made me so slow. I hope to get back later this evening if it cools down. Keeping an eye on elderly relations in this heat too, takes up a lot of time. Oh to have a 36 hour day! Positive vibes 🙂

It all looks great, Rebecca! Thanks for sharing 🙂

I’m really looking forward to it Margot. Even after I’ve done my panel I shall be about all day, it’s just an amazing event that hasn’t been done before.
Nic Parker says
What do I have to do to sign up? Will you create an event on Facebook?
Rebecca Bradley says
Have you found it Nic? Or I can give you the link…
Jacqui Murray says
I’ll be there. Good luck, Rebecca.
Rebecca Bradley says
Great! And thank you. I’m a little nervous I have to admit, especially being first up! Now that is a scary slot to fill! But – I am really looking forward to the whole weekend. It’s been great fun behind the scenes with everyone. We really want this to work and for the readers to get as much as they can out of it. The internet is just great sometimes 🙂

It all looks amazing – trying desperately hard to work out how to make sure the rest of life doesn’t intrude over that weekend – perhaps I should book myself into a hotel and pretend I’ve gone away? 😉
Rebecca Bradley says
That sounds like a great plan Cleo! I’m also going to have to hide myself away from my family because I don’t intend to just do my panel and leave, I’ll be about all weekend, it’s just so exciting!
